Astrion is a portable personal interface designed for Home Assistant, ideal for controlling smart devices around your home. UltraBARX is a modular desktop command center built around the CoreBar, designed for workspace control and professional AV environments.

Astrion integrates natively with Home Assistant. UltraBARX also integrates with Home Assistant and is designed for professional AV installations with Control4, RTI, and Crestron. Both products support local-first control.

Both Astrion and UltraBARX receive OTA (over-the-air) updates.
For Astrion, go to Settings → About → Software Version.
For UltraBARX, updates are delivered via LineOS™.

- Install the Astrion Home Integration via HACS
- Create a long-lived access token in Home Assistant

Yes, Astrion includes a built-in microphone and connects directly to Home Assistant voice pipelines for hands-free control. You can trigger automations, scenes, and queries using voice commands.

Yes, starting from v1.4.0, the TV Card supports binding to Harmony HUB entities. You can select Remote Mode for pre-configured remote content or Select Mode for script content from your Harmony HUB.
Try these steps in order:
- Check the battery level and charge if needed
- Verify network connectivity (Wi-Fi signal strength)
- Restart your Astrion Remote
- Check for firmware updates (

From v1.4.0 onward, you can customize physical buttons in the TV Card configuration. Select your remote model in the TV Card settings, then map each button to your preferred function.

No. The Astrion HA100 includes Bluetooth hardware at the system level, but it is not designed for HID control emulation (keyboard, mouse, or universal remote profiles). The primary control paths are IR, IP, and Home Assistant.
The future HA200 will deliver full Bluetooth universal remote capabilities.
Astrion's button customization has evolved across firmware versions:
- v1.0.33+ — 8 custom buttons available for direct binding via the remote interface
- v1.1.0+ — Additional buttons gradually became available for binding
- v1.4.0 — 4 of the 8 buttons were repurposed from smart home shortcuts to AV/media control buttons; TV Card now supports up to 8 custom physical button mappings

Button Event Reporting allows physical button presses on the Astrion Remote to be reported to Home Assistant as events. This enables advanced automations triggered by physical button interactions.
This feature was restored in v1.4.1[reference:3] after being inadvertently removed in v1.4.0. If you rely on button events for automations, we recommend updating to v1.4.1 or newer.

In v1.4.0, 4 of the 8 custom buttons were repurposed from smart home shortcuts to AV/media control buttons. This change reflects the evolving use case of Astrion Remote — from a general smart home controller to a more focused universal remote experience.
The remaining buttons continue to support smart home shortcuts, and the TV Card now supports up to 8 custom physical button mappings, giving you flexibility to configure buttons per device context.

- Connect UltraBARX to your Wi-Fi network
