Welcome to UltraBARX
Let's get your UltraBARX running — from unboxing to your first workspace. Follow these steps and you'll have your interface ready in about 10 minutes.
“You don't need to know everything before you start.”
What's in the box
Your first 10 minutes with UltraBARX
6 quick steps · ~10 minutesConnect your modules
Snap your modules onto CoreBar using the magnetic QuantumLink™ connection.
- Place CoreBar on your desk — the 7-inch touchscreen is your command center
- Bring KnobKey and DotKey close to the magnetic side connector on CoreBar
- They will snap into place automatically — power and data flow through the magnetic connection
- Modules can be attached in any order and are hot-swappable
Power on
Bring your UltraBARX to life — two simple connections.
① Connect power
- First, assemble the adapter and plug head: align, press firmly, and rotate toward "LOCK" until you hear a click
- Insert the round end of the adapter into CoreBAR's DC 12V power port on the left side
- Plug the other end into a power strip — CoreBAR will power on automatically
- Wait about 20 seconds for the boot animation to complete
② Optional: Connect to PC
- For deep PC integration, use a data-capable Type-C cable
- Insert one end into CoreBAR's PC port (Type-C, also on the left side)
- Insert the other end into your computer's USB port
- Note: Deep PC integration currently supports Windows only
Connect to Wi-Fi
Put your UltraBARX on your network.
- From the CoreBAR screen, go to Settings → Network
- Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password
- Wait for the connection to complete — you'll see a confirmation
Update module firmware
For QuantumLink™ modules only
Firmware updates for modules like VivoCube, DotKey, KnobKey, and SenseCube are performed manually through UltraWorkspace. CoreBAR updates are delivered OTA.
① Download the firmware file
- Visit the GitHub Releases
- Download the latest .bin firmware file for your module (e.g.,
VivoCube_V2_20260728_ota.bin)
② Perform the upgrade in UltraWorkspace
- Launch UltraWorkspace and locate your module in the device layout
- Right-click on the module and select Detail from the context menu
- Navigate to the OTA tab
- Click to select the downloaded .bin firmware file from your local drive
- The system will display the firmware details — click Start OTA to begin
- Wait for the "OTA Upgrade Successful" prompt
③ Verify the upgrade
- Check the App Ver (Application Version) on your module's interface
- If it matches the target version number, the upgrade is complete
Learn the screen gestures
CoreBAR's touchscreen is intuitive — just a few simple gestures to get started.
