1. What's New

1. Dashboards and device detail pages can now be used as automation targets, and are fully supported in Automations, Scenes, and Scripts.
2. TV Card — new "On/Off" control button for Android TV.
3. New "Select" source type added to source list.
4. Fixed AC control issues where certain air conditioners were not controllable.
5. Automatic detection of remote entity type — manual override is also supported.
6. Fixed localization issues in English environment (Chinese text appearing incorrectly).

2. Feature Details

2.1 New Features

① Dashboards & Device Detail Pages as Automation Targets

Scene Configuration

1. In the Scene editor, add a device and select Astrion Remote. If multiple remotes are present, identify them by their serial code.

2. In the remote event popup, choose Action and select the target screen to navigate to from the list.
   Note: Ignore the Event option — it is non‑functional and cannot be hidden due to Home Assistant limitations.

3. Configure the entities or device actions you wish to trigger.

Script Configuration

1. Create or edit a Script, then under "Device" select Astrion Remote.
2. Choose either Action or Event (testing shows no functional difference between the two).
3. Select the target page to navigate to.

Automation Configuration

1. Create a blank Automation, add a trigger and select Device, then search for and add Astrion Remote.
2. Two trigger types are available — Action and Event:
   • Action: focuses on the transition (where you came from and where you're going).
   • Event: focuses on the final destination page. It is recommended to set From to "-" (meaning any screen).

3. Configure the actions to be triggered.
   ⚠️ When setting up an automation to turn on a TV when entering a TV dashboard, avoid using IR power‑on — otherwise, leaving and re‑entering the detail page will trigger another power toggle.

② TV Card — On/Off Button for Android TV

Android TV now supports two power‑control modes:

• If only one command is configured: the button sends that command repeatedly.
• If both commands are configured: the button alternates between On and Off (toggle).

③ New "Select" Source Type

Expands source selection options. Typical use case: selecting Harmony HUB Activities.

2.2 Improvements

① AC Temperature Control Fix

When an air conditioner does not provide a valid step value, the default adjustment step is now set to 1.

② Remote Entity Type Detection

The previous logic caused misidentification errors based on Harmony entity attributes. Now the system automatically detects the entity type (non‑Harmony HUB devices are set to Normal remote) and allows manual override if detection is incorrect.

③ Localization Fix

Fixed an issue where Chinese text would appear in English environment settings.

How to Update

1. On your Astrion Remote, go to Settings → About
2. If an update is available, a red dot will appear
3. Tap the version number and follow the on‑screen instructions to complete the OTA update
