CoreBAR doesn't respond when connected to power.
CoreBAR Won't Turn On
SolvedYour CoreBAR shows no signs of life when connected to the power adapter. No screen, no lights, no response.
Solution
- Check the power adapter: Make sure it's securely connected to both CoreBAR and the wall outlet
- Try a different outlet: The outlet may not be providing power
- Check the adapter assembly: Ensure the plug head is properly locked (rotate toward "LOCK" until you hear a click)
- Wait 20 seconds: CoreBAR's boot animation takes about 20 seconds to appear
- Try a different USB-C power source: A 5V/2A USB adapter or a high-power USB port on your PC
Screen Stays Black
CoreBAR powers on but the screen remains black.
Screen Stays Black After Boot
SolvedCoreBAR appears to be powered on (you can feel heat or see indicator lights), but the screen remains black or unresponsive.
Solution
- Wait longer: First boot can take up to 60 seconds
- Check brightness: Try swiping down from the top of the screen and adjusting brightness
- Restart CoreBAR: Unplug power, wait 10 seconds, and plug back in
- Check for firmware corruption: If still black after restart, contact support
Modules Not Powering
Modules attached to CoreBAR aren't receiving power.
Modules Not Receiving Power
SolvedModules attached via QuantumLink™ are not powering on or responding. No lights, no display, no haptic feedback.
Solution
- Check the magnetic connection: Modules should snap firmly into place
- Reattach the module: Detach and reattach it to ensure a clean connection
- Check for debris: Clean the pogo pins on both CoreBAR and the module
- Check power budget: If you have more than 3 modules attached, use the DC 12V power adapter
- Restart CoreBAR: Unplug power, wait 10 seconds, and plug back in
Power Adapter Issues
Problems with the power adapter itself.
Power Adapter Not Working
SolvedThe power adapter doesn't seem to be supplying power to CoreBAR.
Solution
- Check the adapter assembly: Make sure the plug head is fully locked (rotate toward "LOCK" until click)
- Inspect the cable: Look for any visible damage to the adapter or cable
- Try a different adapter: Use a 5V/2A USB power adapter or a high-power USB port
- Check the port: Inspect CoreBAR's DC 12V port for debris or damage
- Use the PC-LINK port: You can power CoreBAR via the USB-C PC-LINK port as an alternative
