You've tapped the PC Boot button on CoreBAR, but your computer doesn't start. The module appears to be paired but doesn't respond.

Solution

Check pairing status: In Ultra Workspace, verify the PC Boot module is still paired
Repair the module: If the module shows as paired but not responding, try repairing it
Check power to the module: Ensure your computer is plugged in (standby power is required for wake-on)
Check PCIe slot: Make sure the module is fully seated in the PCIe slot
Check motherboard settings: Some motherboards have wake-on settings in the BIOS that may need to be enabled
Check distance: Ensure CoreBAR is within Bluetooth range of the module

Note: PC Boot requires your computer to be connected to standby power. If your computer is unplugged or the PSU switch is off, the module cannot trigger power-on.

Power LED Not Illuminating

The module's power LED isn't lighting up as expected.

The PC Boot module's power LED is not lighting up, or it only lights up intermittently. The module may not be receiving enough power.

Solution

Check PCIe slot power: Ensure the PCIe slot is providing adequate power
Check the power cable: If your module has a separate power cable, ensure it's securely connected
Check motherboard status: The LED may only light when the motherboard is powered on (standby power)
Check PWR_LED connection: If you connected the module to PWR_LED, verify the connection is correct
Try a different PCIe slot: If available, move the module to a different PCIe slot

Tip: Some motherboards only provide standby power on certain PCIe slots. Check your motherboard manual for PCIe power specifications.

You've set up PC Boot with Home Assistant, but automations aren't triggering the power-on command. The boot card works manually but not via automation.

Solution

Check the PC Boot entity: In Home Assistant, verify the PC Boot entity exists and shows the correct state
Check automation triggers: Ensure your automation is correctly referencing the PC Boot entity
Check HA integration: Make sure the Astrion/UltraBARX integration in HA is up to date
Test the service call: In HA Developer Tools, try manually calling the power-on service to isolate the issue
Check network connectivity: Ensure CoreBAR is online and reachable from Home Assistant
Check for duplicate entities: If you have multiple instances of PC Boot, ensure you're targeting the correct one

Note: PC Boot appears as a switch entity in Home Assistant. To trigger power-on, you need to turn the switch on, then off (or use the dedicated power-on service).
