How to configure

Connect your UltraBARX to your Windows PC in a few simple steps.

1

Connect CoreBar to your PC

Use a data-capable Type-C cable to connect CoreBar's PC port to your Windows PC's USB port.

  • Make sure the cable supports data transfer (not just charging)
  • Windows will automatically detect CoreBar as a HID device
  • Note: Deep PC integration currently supports Windows 10 and 11 only
2

Open Ultra Workspace

Launch Ultra Workspace on your PC. Your CoreBar should appear in the device list.

  • If CoreBar is not detected, check the Type-C connection and restart Ultra Workspace
  • Make sure Ultra Workspace has the necessary permissions
3

Enable PC Integration

In Ultra Workspace, navigate to Settings → Integrations → PC and toggle Enable PC Monitoring.

  • Ultra Workspace will start collecting system data
  • You'll see CPU, GPU, and RAM usage appear in the widget library
4

Add System Monitor widgets

From the widget library, drag CPU Usage, GPU Usage, RAM Usage, or Network Speed onto your CoreBar screen simulator.

Arrange them however you like — gauges, graphs, or compact indicators.

💡 You can add these widgets to any Profile. They'll update in real time.
5

Configure PC Boot (optional)

If you have the optional PC Boot PCIe module:

  • Install the PCIe module in your PC's motherboard
  • In Ultra Workspace, go to Settings → PC Boot
  • Follow the pairing instructions to link your CoreBar to the PCIe module
  • Once paired, you can power on your PC from anywhere in the room via CoreBar
🔌 PC Boot works even when your PC is fully powered off (requires standby power).

Common issues

Quick fixes for the most common PC connection problems.

CoreBar not detected by Windows

  • Check that the Type-C cable supports data transfer (try a different cable)
  • Try a different USB port on your PC
  • Restart Ultra Workspace and re-connect the cable
  • Check Device Manager for any driver issues
