How to configure

Connect your UltraBARX to Philips Hue in a few simple steps.

Ensure prerequisites

Make sure you have:

A Philips Hue Bridge connected to your network and powered on
UltraBARX connected to the same Wi-Fi network
Hue lights already paired to your Hue Bridge

💡 The Hue Bridge must be on the same network as CoreBar for discovery to work.

Open Integrations in Ultra Workspace

Launch Ultra Workspace on your PC. Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Philips Hue.

Ultra Workspace will automatically discover Hue Bridges on your network
If not found, click Search to scan again

Pair with Hue Bridge

Select your Hue Bridge from the list and click Connect.

Press the link button on your Hue Bridge (the physical button on top)
Click Continue in Ultra Workspace to complete pairing
Once paired, Ultra Workspace will discover all your lights and scenes

🔑 You only need to press the link button once during initial setup.

Add lights to your workspace

Discovered lights and scenes appear in the device list.

Drag individual lights onto your CoreBar screen as cards
Drag scenes onto your CoreBar for one-tap activation
Create groups to control multiple lights together

💡 You can add lights to different Profiles — work lights for daytime, mood lighting for evenings.

Configure KnobKey and DotKey

KnobKey: In Ultra Workspace, select your KnobKey and map left/right rotation to brightness or color temperature
DotKey: Map each key to a Hue scene — "Focus," "Movie," "Relax," or custom
Press the button → the scene activates instantly

Hue Bridge not discovered

Make sure the Hue Bridge is powered on and connected to your network
Check that CoreBar and the Hue Bridge are on the same network/subnet
Try pressing the link button on the Hue Bridge again
Restart the Hue Bridge and Ultra Workspace
